Three years ago, we lost Jake, a much-loved mate, family member and tradie. While time has passed, his memory remains with us every day, and the importance of the mental health message is as strong as ever.
This year, Grant Ryan Plumbing is coming together, wearing TradeMutt polos and workwear that start conversations and make an impact, while raising funds for TIACS (This Is A Conversation Starter), a free professional counselling service supporting tradies, truckies, rural and blue-collar workers across Australia.
TIACS removes barriers to getting help by providing free, confidential phone and text counselling when it's needed most.
In Jake's memory, we're encouraging everyone to check in with their mates, have the conversations that matter, and help ensure support is available for those doing it tough.
Every dollar raised helps TIACS continue providing free mental health support to the blue-collar community, reminding people that they don't have to carry the load alone.
