We’re raising money for TIACS (This Is A Conversation Starter) because mental health in the transport and trades industry matters and too often, the people who keep Australia moving are doing it tough in silence. We work with truck and hire car businesses every day, and we consistently hear the pressure our brokers and clients are under: long hours, constant deadlines, financial stress, and the weight of always having to push through.
Smoko for a Cause is our way of turning that into action. We’re bringing the yard-site spirit into the office with a trucker/tradie dress-up day, smoko food stalls (BBQ, coffee, pies and donuts), raffles and games and a cheeky “swear jar” that targets the phrases we repeat in underwriting and claims all day. It’s a fun day with a serious purpose: starting more conversations, building awareness, and getting real support in front of the people who need it.
