*Postponed* Buster & Cy's - SaddleSore Challenge

Please support Buster and Cy to raise funds supporting TIACS (This Is A Conversation Starter) in their mission to provide early-intervention mental health support for Australia’s truckies, tradies, blue collar workers and those who care about them.

The team

Father and son team, Buster and Cy are passionate about mental wellness and the prevention of mental ill health in the community. Having been touched by suicide in their

family, they aim to make it easier to discuss mental health issues in the workplace. 

Both work in the building industry supporting local tradies. Buster discovered the TradeMutt

initiative earlier in 2022 and wears the shirts most days, using it as a conversation starter

about mental health.

The challenge

To raise funds for TIACS, Buster and Cy intend to undertake a 1000 mile (1600 km) motor

bike journey in 24 hours from Canberra ACT to Yeppoon in Queensland, Australia. Called the SaddleSore Ride, the challenge will be certified by the Australian Iron Butt Association (IBA). The IBA is dedicated to the sport of safe, long-distance motorcycle riding and the ride is one of the toughest motorcycle challenges in the world. Completion of the task will test them both physically and mentally. Along the way (and on the way back!) they hope to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining mental health.
