The 11 Days in May Challenge for TIACS
Starting from 21st May to 31st May I’ll be running 50km a day for 11 days straight (550km total) whilst still working my day job.
I’m doing it for TIACS, a not-for-profit that provides free, confidential phone and text counselling to tradies, truckies, farmers and the wider blue-collar community.
Mental health has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Both my parents struggled with mental health and addiction, and I’ve fought my own battles with it for most of mine. I never really reached out for proper help, just dealt with it on my own. Running is what I leant on to get through, but I know that’s not the answer for everyone, and it shouldn’t have to be. That’s why TIACS matters. Free, no barriers, a real person on the other end who actually gets it.
